Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Wagner joined The Seattle Hand Surgery Group in 1997. He enjoys treating all types of hand and elbow conditions, with a special interest in sports injuries and arthritis. He cares for many professional and collegiate athletes in Seattle. An avid skier, biker, hiker, boater, and tennis player, he’s so involved in the community that one might mistake him for a Seattle native if not for his deep knowledge of the Indy 500.
Dr. Wagner operates primarily at the Seattle Hand Surgery Unit, Seattle Surgery Center, and Swedish Medical Center First Hill.
Our very own Dr. Wagner sat down with hosts Gary Barss and Todd Sherman to share his journey from childhood inspiration to becoming a leading expert in hand and upper extremity surgery. They explore the realities of medical training, the challenges and rewards of performing complex procedures, and the human side of patient care. Dr. Wagner also shares fascinating stories from his career, including trauma cases, microsurgery, and his work with professional athletes.
